Whole-bean specialty coffee from Colombia , roasted by Rubens Gardelli , World Roasting Champion 2017. Medium roast , perfect both for espresso and pour-over brewing methods. You can expect hints of hazelnut, dried plums, dark chocolate, pineapple, and strawberry.
We regularly receive new lots from Rubens. Like all limited edition seasonal single origin specialy coffees they are...indeed limited edition....so if you are looking for a fresh roast let us know and we can reserve incoming lots for you. Some coffees don't even make it online because our regulars already bought them all.
Gardelli is packed in a sealed compostable bag. There is no valve so your coffee stays fresh as long as the bag is closed. If you open the bag even a few months after the roast date it is still fresh. Older roasts just age faster after opening the bag, so drink it fast or keep part in a vacuum container or (vacuum) bag or pot in the freezer (best for pre-dosing).
