Weesper Winter Blend – Warming Black Tea Blend by the CoffeeNose 👃

Cold days call for a warm mug of comfort — and our Weesper Winter Blend is exactly that.

This aromatic black tea blend combines rich Assam tea with festive orange peel, pink pepper, cloves, apple, coriander, and cardamom, creating a cozy winter infusion with depth and spice.

Hand-blended in small batches for WB.coffee, it’s our local ode to Weesp winters by the water — perfect for sharing, gifting, or sipping slowly by candlelight.

☕ How it tastes

A deep amber liquor with the malty body of Assam black tea, lifted by citrus brightness and warming spice notes.

Expect hints of orange zest, apple, and sweet spice, rounded by a light peppery warmth.

Smooth, full-bodied, and naturally aromatic — no milk needed (though it pairs beautifully with a splash of oat or full cream milk).

• Assam black tea (India) – strong, malty base
• Dried orange peel – natural citrus lift
• Pink pepper – sweet, floral heat
• Cloves & cardamom – traditional winter spice warmth
• Dried apple & coriander seed – fruity softness and subtle sweetness
• Natural flavoring – to round off the winter aroma

All ingredients are 100% natural and hand-selected for balance and aroma.

• Use 10gr per liter (us a scale)
• Water temperature: 95°C 
• Steep time: 3-5 minutes

Serve plain or with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick for the full Weesper winter ritual.

Also delicious as a winter iced tea base or tea latte with steamed milk.

Reduce your co2 footprint. Choose Zero waste tea.

This option is possible if you come and collect your coffee at our Lab in Weesp or if you choose local bike delivery.

You can bring your own (vacuum) canister or use our exchange service (Tea Refill Program) for any canister you bought from WB.coffee

This canister is very suitable for our Weesp pick up and delivery service of zero waste tea. 

 Tea Refill Program = €1 discount for each loose tea

It's not completely zero waste throughout the whole chain yet, but tea is transporter in bulk over sea so the majority of the co2 and waste is created roasting with gas (we roast on renewable electricity), packaging and transport by road.

We also take back the spend tea for compost!

The Ankomn Turn 'n' Seal Vacuum Canister 0.3L fits 50gr-200gr of our blends. It really depends on the blend. Herbal infusions have usually more volume compared to pure black or green tea.

Use soft mineral water or filtered water to better taste the delicate flavors of tea and coffee. Brew tea at the recommended temperature with a variable temperature kettle such as Fellow Corvo. Heating only the needed amount of water at the right temperature saves energy. 

Loose tea brewing is easy with the right tools. Take a look at the practical, easy to clean and plastic free Hario ChaCha tea brewers.
