Kaffe Klar Cleaning Brush Head
for flat bottom baskets
This cleaning brush head features a full metal body and is equipped with a rubber strip specifically designed for 58mm flat-bottom, straight-walled double espresso portafilters, enabling fast and efficient cleaning.
The KaffeeKlar is famous for its "universal" brush design, but there are nuances based on your basket size:

| Single Baskets | Limited | Deep single-shot baskets work fine; shallow "funnel" style single baskets might not reach the brushes effectively. |
Note on Bottomless Portafilters: The KaffeeKlar works best with bottomless (naked) portafilters. If you use a spouted portafilter, it will still work, but you have to be more careful with the angle to ensure the brushes hit the bottom of the basket.
3. Maintenance Tip
To keep the motor running smoothly, the brushes should be replaced every 15,000 to 20,000 cycles. You can usually tell it's time when the bristles start looking "flared" out like an old toothbrush, which reduces the cleaning efficiency.
