Sustainability

A machine with a well insulated boiler in the right size/capacity will heat up fast, whilst using minimal energy. Size matters and it all depends on your drinking habits. 

Repairability

Not all brands are build for repairs. Are spare parts available? Is support available? 

Upgrades 

With our tasty specialty coffee beans you are likely to get addicted. Maybe you will want to extract more flavor and upgrade your shower screen, portafilter basket, maybe even a naked portafilter? Pressure profiling, shot timer, pressure gauge. Many brands and machines are suitable for (custom) upgrades. 

Some brands are on purpose not suitable for universal parts and tools, so they can sell their own overpriced parts instead. 

Health 

Lower end, cheaper machines often use plastic parts. With PFAS and microplastics this is not such a good idea. Oils and heat let plastic migrate into your drink. With some brands this is also the case with their more expensive machines from around 1000 euro!

Rancilio Silvia E is a compact one-group coffee machine that will satisfy the most demanding enthusiasts of espresso and which is perfect for small catering establishments. 

• solid steel structure with black elements
• large capacity boiler (0.3 l)
• the group and the boiler made of brass
• the boiler is foam-insulated on the outside which protects against heat loss
• components of the coffee machine are made of food safe materials - removable water tank with a capacity of 2.5 litre
• professional chrome-plated nozzle for milk frothing
• 3-way valve - pump which generates 15 bar pressure
• cup heating tray.
