A coffee grinder is the most important tool for any coffee lover. Even with the most fancy 5000 euro espresso machine you cannot make good coffee without a good grinder. With a good grinder however, you can make good coffee just with a bowl and a spoon and many brewing methods that cost less than 50 euro!

Make an appointment

This Sage/Breville grinder is an excellent choice for at home. Easy to dial in. Good Particle Size Distribution (PSD). Durable and long lasting. We have used it for years in the Lab during workshops and trainings. Easy to remove the upper burr and clean the grinding chamber.

A disadvantage is that Sage does not (actively) supports repairs and spare parts are expensive. This is the same grinder that you find in the Sage espresso machines with build in grinder. We do however always advice you to have a seperate grinder as grinding coffee in the heat and moisture of an espresso machine is not the best. Also for cleaning and maintenance it's not optimal.

If you want to elevate your coffee game, investing in a quality grinder is essential. Many grinders, however, can become "dirty" over time. Rancid coffee oils not only ruin the taste of your brew but also put excessive strain on your grinder's motor, ultimately shortening its lifespan. Don't compromise on flavor or equipment longevity—regularly use a professional grinder cleaner to keep your burrs in pristine condition and enjoy the best espresso possible.

Supermarket coffee and commercial (dark roast) beans are a big NO NO if you want to drink tasty coffee.
