Join us for a fun and informative sensory experience revolving around coffee. During this experience you will: 

• Taste green, white, black teas from the best estates
• Explore various varietals of tea including the famous Silver Needle Yin Zhen
• Discover different tea brewing methods 
  
• Savor tea blends and infusions
  
• Try cupping tea: sample your coffee by slurping it from a spoon, just like an expert tea taster would
  
• Experience how sensory elements such as aroma, size, shape, and color of the coffee cup affect flavor perception.
  

Similar to how a knowledgeable wine sommelier educates you about the wine and presents it at the perfect temperature in the right glass, our tea sommelier and flavor expert will expertly brew your tea while enlightening you about the entire process, the origin of the tea, varietals, the flavor notes, and much more.  

Envision it as a live cooking demonstration, but dedicated entirely to the craft of tea brewing.

Upcoming experiences

The tasting experience lasts for 1.5 hours and is priced at 50 per person (90 for two). This exclusive event is limited to a maximum of 6 participants and is insipered by the Japanese Omakase Tea Tasting Experience, featuring a distinctive Dutch twist.

You have the option to sign up for a tasting experience for yourself or to buy a tasting experience voucher as a present. The recipient of the voucher can pick a date that is convenient for them.

You can discover our available tasting experiences in the events section of this site. For groups of more than two people, we can arrange a convenient date and time for your booking. We will then include it in the public calendar for others to join in.

Not your average cafe experience, but personalized service by our flavor experts who are trained as Barista, tea sommelier and chocolatista.

If you truly appreciate fine tea, opt for loose tea, as it offers the highest quality and flavor, unlike teabags that often contain inferior fragments and lower grade leaves.

Preparing loose tea is a breeze and requires minimal cleanup. With the right accessories, it can be brewed effortlessly and mess-free. For even easier cleanup, you can opt for paper tea bags when using loose tea.
