In the Netherlands, WB.coffee has been one of the earliest retailers of the Aeropress. After introducing the moka pot, french press, and V60, this was the first manual coffee brewing device that the CoffeeNose 👃 experimented with.

The Aeropress is an incredibly versatile brewing device that makes it simple for both novices and coffee enthusiasts to create delicious coffee. It can be used with either paper or metal (reusable) filters and is available in three different sizes:

💡Tip from the CoffeeNose👃​


Aeropress is a great brewing device and allows you to experiment with extraction time, grind size, ratio, temperature and other variables. It almost never happens that you screw up so badly that your coffee is not - at least - ok. 

I reccomend the flow control adaptor for easy full immersion brewing. Use the paper filter for more delicate flavor notes and a soft, silky moutfeel and us the metal filter for stronger coffees, concentrates and bolder flavors. 

With full immersion use 18gr of coffee and you can pour 300ml of water of 96 degrees celcius. With the flow control adaptor or fellow prismo just press after 2-5min (experiment!). Press slowly. If pressing goes to easily grind finer. 

With the standard filter holder pour 50ml on the 18gr ground coffee on the first pour and give it a gentle swirl to make sure all grounds are absorbing water. After 20-30 seconds pour 100ml. Break the crust on the top with a spoon/spatula. After 30 sec pour the remaining 150ml. Your brew should be finished in 3-5 min. Just be patient for the last bit and don't get temted to press. With this method we don't press at all! Just let it drip.
