Eureka Peppe Coffee Grinder – Compact 50 mm Flat-Burr Grinder

☕ Freshly Ground Coffee Without the Complication

The Eureka Peppe is a compact and approachable coffee grinder for beginners, filter-coffee lovers, and home baristas who want to move beyond pre-ground coffee.

Its 50 mm hardened-steel flat burrs, powerful 300-watt motor, and Eureka’s stepless micrometric grind adjustment provide much more control than you would normally expect from an entry-level grinder.

Use the Peppe for everyday filter coffee, moka pot, French press, or finer espresso grinding. Operation is deliberately simple: switch the grinder on, grind the amount you need, and collect the coffee in the included grounds container.

Compact, sturdy, and refreshingly straightforward. ⚙️

⚙️ 50 mm Flat Burrs

The Eureka Peppe uses 50 mm flat burrs made from hardened steel.

Flat burrs help produce a consistent grind and give you enough precision to experiment with different coffee recipes. Compared with very basic blade grinders or small entry-level burr systems, the Peppe provides a much more controlled and repeatable result.

That can help improve:

✅ Extraction consistency

✅ Sweetness and balance

✅ Flavour clarity

✅ Brewing repeatability

✅ Control over brew time

✅ Freshness in the cup

Fresh grinding does not automatically guarantee great coffee, but it gives you one of the most important tools needed to achieve it.

🎚 Stepless Micrometric Adjustment

Eureka’s stepless micrometric adjustment allows you to make very small changes to the grind size.

There are no fixed clicks forcing you to choose between two settings. You can move gradually finer or coarser until the coffee flows and tastes the way you want.

This is particularly useful when adjusting for:

🫘 Different coffee beans

🔥 Different roast levels

💧 Changes in brewing method

⚖️ Larger or smaller doses

⏱️ Faster or slower extraction

🌦️ Changes in freshness and humidity

Small adjustments can make a surprisingly large difference, especially for moka pot and espresso.

☕ One Grinder for Multiple Brewing Methods

The Peppe can grind across a broad range suitable for everyday coffee preparation.

Recommended applications

  • Espresso
  • Moka pot
  • AeroPress
  • Hario V60
  • Hario Switch
  • Chemex
  • Moccamaster
  • Batch filter coffee
  • French press

Its strongest everyday use case is fresh coffee for filter, moka, AeroPress, and French press, but the fine adjustment range also makes espresso possible.

Important Espresso Note

The Peppe doses coffee manually into a collection container rather than directly into a portafilter. It can grind finely enough for espresso, but the workflow is less specialised than that of a dedicated on-demand espresso grinder.

For occasional espresso or an accessible first setup, it can be a very interesting option.

For frequent espresso, rapid dialling-in, or several drinks in succession, consider a dedicated espresso grinder with a portafilter fork and timed or weight-based dosing.

🖐️ Simple Manual Operation

There are no complicated menus, touchscreens, or dose programmes.

Use the straightforward on/off switch to start grinding and switch it off once you have prepared the amount required.

This manual workflow gives you complete control over the dose and works particularly well when weighing the beans before grinding.

Recommended workflow

  1. Weigh the required amount of whole beans.
  2. Add them to the hopper.
  3. Switch on the grinder.
  4. Grind until the chamber is empty.
  5. Transfer the grounds to your brewer.
  6. Brew immediately.

This single-dose-inspired approach helps reduce waste and keeps each preparation fresh.

🔇 Comfortable Everyday Grinding

The Peppe operates pleasantly quietly for a grinder in its category.

That makes it suitable for:

🏠 Kitchens and apartments

🌅 Early-morning coffee

🏢 Small offices

📚 Study rooms

☕ Compact coffee corners

No grinder is completely silent, but the Peppe is designed to provide a comfortable home workflow without excessive noise or unnecessary complexity.

🏠 Compact and Minimalist Design

With a width of only 12 cm, the Eureka Peppe occupies very little valuable counter space.

Its simple, functional appearance fits easily beside a Moccamaster, espresso machine, moka pot, or manual brewing station.

Available in black and white, it combines a metal body with a smoked bean hopper for a clean and understated look.

Dimensions

Width: 12 cm

Depth: 32.2 cm

Height: 24.5 cm

Always allow additional clearance above the grinder when filling or removing the hopper.

🫘 Practical Hopper and Grounds Container

The smoked hopper holds approximately 150 grams of coffee beans.

This is enough for several filter brews while remaining compact enough for home use.

The included grounds container holds approximately 200 grams of ground coffee, although we strongly recommend grinding only the quantity needed for each preparation.

Ground coffee loses aroma much faster than whole beans.

Freshly ground means freshly brewed. 👃

✅ Perfect For

The Eureka Peppe is ideal for:

✔️ Beginning home baristas

✔️ Filter-coffee drinkers

✔️ Moccamaster users

✔️ AeroPress and V60 brewing

✔️ Moka-pot enthusiasts

✔️ French-press coffee

✔️ Small kitchens and coffee corners

✔️ Anyone upgrading from pre-ground coffee

✔️ Users wanting flat burrs at an accessible price

👃 CoffeeNose Tip – Weigh Before You Grind

The Peppe is manually dosed, so a small coffee scale is one of the best accessories you can add.

Instead of filling the hopper and guessing how much coffee has been ground, weigh the beans first.

Useful starting ratios:

Filter Coffee

60 g coffee per litre of water

Examples:

  • 15 g coffee → 250 g water
  • 18 g coffee → 300 g water
  • 30 g coffee → 500 g water

Moka Pot

Fill the basket evenly without tamping. Adjust the grind and coffee selection rather than compressing the coffee.

Espresso

A starting point:

18 g coffee → 36–45 g espresso

Taste the coffee and adjust the grind based on flavour—not only on extraction time.

🛍️ Complete Your Brewing Setup

⚖️ Coffee Scale

A scale helps you work consistently with:

  • Coffee dose
  • Water weight
  • Espresso yield
  • Brewing ratio
  • Extraction time

Even an affordable grinder becomes much more useful when your recipes are measured.

💧 Filter Brewing Equipment

Pair the Eureka Peppe with:

  • Hario V60
  • Hario Switch
  • AeroPress
  • Chemex
  • Moccamaster
  • French press
  • Quality paper filters
  • Pouring kettle

Its broad adjustment range allows you to explore different brewing styles without needing a separate grinder for every brewer.

🫘 Fresh WB.coffee Beans

Fresh coffee makes the grinder upgrade worthwhile.

🧼 Keep the Grinder Clean

Old coffee particles and oils gradually collect around the burrs and grounds pathway.

To keep fresh coffee tasting fresh:

🧹 Brush loose coffee from the grounds outlet

💨 Use an air blower for dry particles

🫘 Avoid oily, heavily flavoured coffee beans

🫙 Empty the grounds container regularly

🧼 Follow Eureka’s instructions for deeper cleaning

🚫 Never introduce water into the burr chamber

Always disconnect the grinder from the power supply before maintenance.

🆚 An Interesting Alternative to Basic Entry-Level Grinders

The Eureka Peppe is an attractive alternative to popular entry-level grinders such as the Baratza Encore.

Its key advantages include:

⚙️ 50 mm flat burrs

🎛️ Stepless micrometric adjustment

🏗️ Sturdy metal housing

💪 Powerful 300-watt motor

☕ Greater potential for fine espresso grinding

🇮🇹 Eureka grinder engineering

The right choice depends on your preferred brewing methods.

Users who prefer clearly numbered steps and frequently move between brewing methods may enjoy a stepped grinder. Users who value precise adjustment and want the possibility of grinding finer may prefer the Peppe’s stepless system.

☕ Why We Like It at WB.coffee

The Peppe keeps things simple without feeling cheap.

You get a metal body, proper 50 mm flat burrs, a strong motor, and Eureka’s stepless adjustment system in a very compact grinder.

We particularly appreciate that it can grow with the user.

Start with a French press or Moccamaster.

Experiment with AeroPress and V60.

Move finer for moka pot.

Even explore espresso.

It is not the final grinder for every experienced espresso enthusiast, but it is a very convincing first step away from supermarket pre-ground coffee and basic blade grinders.

For its price, the combination of build quality, grind adjustment, and versatility offers excellent value.

Fresh WB.coffee beans deserve to be ground immediately before brewing—and the Peppe makes that accessible. ☕
