Is WB.coffee safe to order?

We sometimes get customers who are confused if they are not asked for a direct payment or if things are a bit diffrent from big commerce. If someone builds a website to scam you they will never build it like WB.coffee

EU consumer law protects you with a purchase from any EU based webshop. 14 days return is part of this law. Guarantee is part of this law.

WB.coffee B.V. is a real company with a warehouse in Weesp (Amsterdam). You can find us on google maps, check on streetview, read the google reviews find us on Kvk (chamber of commerce)

Our KvK number is: 75457067. We are incorporated as a B.V. which means is went through a notary in the Netherlands since 2019 has now been around for over 6.5 years. Fraudulent webshops (so-called "dropshipping scams") usually disappear within a few months. A limited liability company that has been active since 2019 indicates a stable business operation.

You can also check the Police register of black listed websites , etc. Just google for WB.coffee - Weesp.

Scammers always want you to pay fast before you can doubt. They make sure their website looks very professional and they offer certain popular products for prices that are too good to be true (to take advantage of your FOMO).

WB.coffee offers you a non-binding quotation. We ask you to consider sustainable options by ordering multiple items and not offering free shipping. All things that in e-commerce lower conversion (amount of browsers that actually makes a purchase). Scammers are looking for a high conversion, fast.

Also you found us, right...? Maybe Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude recommended us? We didn't pop-up as add in your social media, right?!

Why do you ask for direct bank transfer?

Direct bank transfer on an EU based SEPA IBAN euro corporate account is very safe. It does not rely on American companies like visa or mastercard and falls under strict EU privacy and financial regulations. It is also the most efficient and fast payment method. No third parties like Mollie, Adyen, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, etc have to be involced. A direct bank transfer is FREE (unless your bank charges you) and safe. You can initiate it from your own banking app or website without clicking on any external links.

Why do you have some 1 star google reviews?

A company without bad reviews is more suspicious. You always have customers who have a bad experience due to lost package, delayed delivery etc. Mostly it is customers who do not read and expect things that we don't deliver (big e-commerce delivery promises). So we don't meet their expectation. Those where expectations, not promises we made or advertised.

There are even people who have never been our customer, they never bought or ordered anything from us but still leave a 1 star review and never reply for an explaination. If you click on the reviewer profile usually they only left 1 or a couple of reviews which means they created the profile specifically to leave a bad review. In most cases they are just weirdos, azijnpissers we call them in dutch. If you read all of their reviews and 80% of them are just weird, unfounded complaints with foul language and bad spelling, you will understand why we call them weirdos.

We don't use Trustpilot or comparable pay for review services. All these services have some way for companies to remove negative reviews, show them lower in the the list, ask the reviewer to revise the review, etc. Trustpilot even tries to get your ID copy. Why on earth would a company like trustpilot want to get your ID info. That's a huge risk for data breaches, identity theft and hackers are targeting big companies, often succesfully.

So if they don't like your review they can take it offline. This is a review asked for after purchase so it's from a verified customer. At google reviews you cannot do that as a business. You can publically respond and than anyone can judge for themselves.

We believe google reviews (although it allows reviews from people that never bought anything) to be more independent. It's like reading restaurant reviews, you have to check with negative reviews if that reviewer is some idiot that only places negative reviews everywhere, you don't take that opinion into account.

Update (jan 2025) we just checked an with google you can also report reviews. We will update again if we get a response on their actions. We are not against the possibility to remove reviews if they are not relevant. We just want to show that the pay for review services like Trustpilot are not in anyway more reliable.

If someone who bought a 50 euro vacuum but reviews it as if he bought a Dyson or Miele, you don't take that opinion into account.

Fake bot reviews are also pretty easy to distinguish. Also look at the review dates and text of the positive reviews. A lot of reviews in a short period of time indicate that these reviews have been bought. Something that is illegal in the EU. No negative reviews at all is also suspicious.
