Chocolate is made from Cacao beans. During this tasting experience you will taste pure cacao and a bunch of bean to bar chocolates including 100% pure...you read it correctly. 0% sugar and added ingredients. Just 100% cacao. 

Tasting is something we do with all our senses. It is in fact a sensory experience, mixing the basic taste from your tongue with the smell and mouthfeel of the chocolate. Even your eyes and ears play their part is a sensory experience. 

Our experiences at Amsterdam Coffee Lab are not just about tasting, they are also very informative and exciting. For sure you will learn something new. We will guide you through a (blind) tasting experience.​

You have the option to sign up for a tasting experience for yourself or to buy a tasting experience voucher as a present. The recipient of the voucher can pick a date that is convenient for them.

You can discover our available tasting experiences in the events section of this site. For groups of more than two people, we can arrange a convenient date and time for your booking. We will then include it in the public calendar for others to join in.

Choose your experience

The tasting experience lasts for 1.5 hours and is priced at 50 per person (90 for two). This exclusive event is limited to a maximum of 6 participants and is insipered by the Japanese Omakase Coffee Tasting Experience, featuring a distinctive Dutch twist.

We will assess your current setup and assist you in enhancing your coffee experience. This service starts at 150 (not including travel expenses).

There is a wide range of possibilities. Coffee tasting can be enhanced with sensory smell and taste activities like chocolate tasting, tea tasting, whisky tasting, and more.
