Pour 'n' Drip V60 workshop

You have a V60, but your coffee is just okay and not as delicious as at your coffee-geek friend's place or the specialty coffee bar.

You’re probably not getting the best out of your V60. Are you satisfied with your coffee but want to learn and experiment more? Are you curious about the switch or different sizes and materials (plastic, ceramic, glass, metal), the WB.coffee V60 filters, or the Sibarist FAST filters?

Whether you’ve had a V60 for years or just bought a new one (or are considering it), you will definitely brew better coffee with the tips and tricks you learn during this workshop. It doesn’t matter if you use a Hario or another brand of V60 cone style brewer.

Filter coffee is very versatile, and flavors range from nutty and chocolatey to floral and fruity. We will taste a lot, but just like with wine, you can spit this out if you are sensitive to caffeine.

You will learn:

  • how to select good coffee beans for your pour over
  • how to grind these beans
  • how to choose your recipe and technique
  • which water to use
  • how to adjust your recipe to your taste
  • what coffee-to-water ratio to use (your recipe)
  • why filter coffee is the healthiest brewing method that fits into any diet
  • how to keep your V60 free from flavor and aroma-influencing bacteria
  • how to store your coffee properly
  • and many more tips and tricks

Workshops @ Amsterdam Coffee Lab

in picturesque Weesp

At Amsterdam Coffee Lab, we host workshops that are both inclusive and conducted in a welcoming environment. We appreciate that everyone is unique and has different ways of learning.

We believe in a hands-on approach to learning, where mistakes are stepping stones to growth, and the only question that is truly foolish is the one that isn’t asked.
