Are these the same burrs as the Mahlkönig PEAK burrs?

➡️ No — they are not the same.

The Mahlkönig E80 Supreme and the Mahlkönig PEAK both use 80 mm flat burrs, but they differ in key ways:

• Different materials
  • E80 Supreme: steel burrs
  • PEAK: burrs made from a special hardened cast material (hard cast / “Hartguss”)
• Different burr geometry / cut
  Even if the diameter is the same, the cut profile (grind geometry) is different, which affects grinding performance, particle distribution, and cup profile.

• Very wear-resistant
• Lower material cost than hard cast / carbide-style materials
