Calibration Weight for Mahlkönig GbW & GbS Espresso Grinders

A 1 kg calibration weight designed for Mahlkönig Grind-by-Weight (GbW) & Grind-by-Sync (GbS) espresso grinders, used to calibrate and verify dosing accuracy.

When is it recommended to recalibrate the grinder?

It’s recommended to recalibrate if your portafilter doses show too much variation. A tolerance of ±0.2 g is considered acceptable.

After switching to a new coffee, run 2–3 shots to let the grinder “relearn” the new beans. Larger deviations can happen at first, but the dosing should stabilize after 15–20 shots at the latest.
