Clocking in at 64 mm with a unique two-stage grinding geometry, Ode Gen 2 Brew Burrs produce a sweet, balanced, complex cup with enough clarity to respect the coffee. Whether you’re a light roast drinker looking to increase extraction yield, or a medium and dark roast lover seeking rich chocolate and toffee notes, these burrs have something for everyone.
These burrs are capable of grinding for finer brews but are not for espresso.

Tip from The CoffeeNose: The gen 1 burrs will give you a complex cup and will highlight the acidity of the coffee more providing more flavor clarity. If you are used to grind a bit coarser and makingake a lot of V60 or Kalita style brews the gen 1 grinder and burrs will suit you better. If you grind finer and try to make a stronger cup and extract maximum sweetness (with a risk of more bitter notes in the balance) the gen 2 grinder/burrs will suit you more. There are also SSP burrs that sit in between the micron range. I reccomend those burrs if you are a fan of ultra light (nordic) roasts.
