Moccamaster Thermos for KBGT and KBT

The new thermos from Moccamaster has a stylish design and is easy to use.

With the KBGT thermos you can enjoy your coffee even longer, at home or on the go. Ideal for the real coffee lover!

This Moccamaster thermos made of stainless steel comes with two caps:

1. A cap with mixing pipe for homogeneous coffee that you use during coffee making and with this cap you can also pour coffee, without having to unscrew the cap.
2. A transport cap that you use when you are going to transport the jug.

The Thermos is interchangeable with the old thermos (art. 59861) and can be used under the Moccamaster KBGT.

How long does the thermos keep the coffee warm?

The Moccamaster thermos now has a glass inner bottle. Previously, this was made of only stainless steel. Thanks to the glass inner bottle, a full jug of coffee can now stay warm for up to 3 hours up to 80° C! After 8 hours, the temperature of the coffee is even about 50 ° C. Whether you work indoors or outdoors, from now on you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee even longer. A must-have for the real coffee drinker!

Improved spout

The new pouring spout has an adapted opening that ensures that the pouring takes place exactly. This prevents tampering. That's great, isn't it?

 How to clean the thermos?

You can easily clean the new thermos with water and a small amount of brew clean. The thermos cannot be put in the dishwasher.

The CoffeeNose 👃: If you like your coffee hot and want to keep it hot for longer you should pre heat the thermos with some hot (boiling) water (don't forget to discard it before brewing!). When using Moccamaster you should, of course use good quality coffee (not to be found in the supermarket) and always grind fresh and brew with white filter paper.

Compatible coffee: find your blend with a filter tasting set or ask for a single origin recommendation! FJ filter blend is a great coffee with Fruity & Juicy flavor notes. Are you a tad more traditional? We reccomend the CN blend with Chocolaty & Nutty blend. If you are used to add milk you can ditch the sugar. Our specialty coffee blends are sweet by themselves.
