A universal descaler for water kettles, coffee machines, steam ovens, ironers, etc. Also for tough scale stains in the bathroom and kitchen.
Tip: If you only buy descaler, without coffee and other products you can choose dezcal powder. The sachets fit in a mailbox envelope! Ordering multiple items at once is however always more economical and sustainable. You will also need coffee machine cleaner and possible milk cleaner.

1. Coffee and Espresso Machines
For drip coffee makers, espresso machines, and fully automatic machines, a general dilution guideline applies:
- Mix: Pour 125 ml (half a bottle) of Superfinn descaler into the water reservoir.
- Dilute: Top up the reservoir with 500 ml to 1 liter of clean water (depending on the tank size).
- Descale: Start the machine's descaling program. If your machine doesn't have one, let half of the mixture run through. Turn the machine off and let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Then, run the rest of the solution through.
- Rinsing (Crucial): After descaling, run at least 2 to 3 full tanks of clean, fresh water through the machine to remove all residue.
2. Kettles
- Mix: Pour 125 ml of Superfinn descaler into the kettle.
- Dilute: Fill up with 500 ml of water, or enough water to fully submerge the lime scale.
- Soak: Bring the mixture to a boil or let it sit for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the severity of the scale.
- Empty: Carefully pour out the solution.
- Rinse: Fill the kettle with clean water at least 3 times and bring it to a boil each time. Discard the water after each boil to ensure the descaler is completely gone.
3. Showerheads, Faucets, and Detachable Parts
- Mix: Mix the descaler in a container with water (often a ratio of 1 part descaler to 3 to 4 parts water, but check the packaging).
- Submerge: Place the calcified item (like the showerhead) into the solution and let it soak for a few minutes up to half an hour.
- Rinse: Rinse the item thoroughly with clean, running water before reinstalling it.
