Fellow Atmos Vacuum Canister 1.2L - Glass

Fellow Atmos is a coffee bean vacuum canister. Durable, air-tight, prevents oxidation and extends coffee's shelf life even by 50%. Its huge advantage over other vacuum canisters is the integrated pump - you just twist the lid back and forth to remove air from the inside, with no need to use any additional pumps. Fellow Atmos is available as hand operated (twisting the lid) or with electric  mini pump in the lid (USB chargeable). Only the lid is different, the container is the same and interchangeable with and lid.

However, do not store ground substances, like: ground coffee, flour, etc. This may clog the vacuum lid and prevent a proper vacuum seal. Do not place Atmos upside down while storing content inside.

A vacuum jar to ensure your coffee beans stay fresh. How to avoid commonly made mistakes?

The CoffeeNose recommends utilizing a canister for coffee beans that you plan to store for anywhere between 1 week and 2 months. To keep your beans fresh, avoid breaking the vacuum seal on a daily basis for your regular servings, as this will allow CO2 to escape and oxygen to enter the canister. Beans that you will use within a week can be kept in the original coffee bag (simply roll it up and secure it with a clip) or in a small jar or container. Any leftover beans should be stored in a vacuum canister for optimal preservation.

It's common for people to mistakenly select the biggest vacuum canister, but if you're only buying up to 500g of beans, it's far more effective to get 2-3 smaller canisters. Opening and resealing a large canister daily compromises the vacuum, letting in oxygen and CO2. These canisters are meant for beans you'll use within 1 to 10 weeks, and repeatedly breaking the vacuum can work against your efforts to keep them fresh.
