Freshly roasted coffee changes continuously after roasting.

Once exposed to the environment, oxygen, moisture, heat and strong external aromas can gradually reduce the intensity and quality of the coffee.

The Moccamaster canister uses an airtight seal to reduce exposure to outside air, while its opaque stainless-steel body protects the contents from light. Moccamaster specifically recommends airtight, dark storage for preserving coffee aroma and freshness.
