The MHW-3BOMBER Yu Series Impact Spring Tamper 58.35 mm is designed for home baristas and espresso professionals who want greater consistency in their puck preparation. Its spring-assisted mechanism helps deliver repeatable tamping, while the leveling design reduces the risk of compressing the coffee bed at an angle.

A precision tamper is only as good as the coffee bed underneath it.
Even perfectly level tamping cannot completely compensate for clumps, uneven distribution or an unsuitable grind size. That's why we recommend combining the Yu Series Impact with a good WDT tool.

CoffeeNose insight: Once coffee is adequately compressed, tamping harder generally doesn't improve extraction. Consistency, level alignment and good distribution are more important than applying maximum force.
