⚙️ Durable Stainless-Steel Burrs

The Smart G PRO is equipped with stainless-steel burrs for a smooth, efficient, and consistent grinding experience.

Compared with the ceramic burrs found in many affordable travel grinders, the steel burrs feel faster and more direct while grinding. They are durable, resistant to everyday wear, and well suited to regular use at home or on the road.

The adjustable grind setting allows you to prepare coffee for different manual brewing methods, including:

The Smart G PRO is primarily a filter coffee grinder. Although it can grind relatively fine, we recommend a dedicated espresso grinder for consistently dialling in an unpressurised basket espresso machine.

🌀 More Stable Grinding

The PRO construction uses additional bearing support to stabilise the central shaft.

Reducing unnecessary movement in the shaft helps the burrs remain better aligned during grinding. This contributes to a more stable grinding action and a more consistent particle size compared with simpler entry-level hand grinders.

More consistency in the grounds can result in:

Its slim transparent body occupies very little room in a backpack, suitcase, camper, office drawer, or coffee travel kit.

The stainless-steel handle is easy to remove and uses a secure hexagonal connection. Once detached, it slides into the integrated silicone storage band on the side of the grinder.

No loose crank moving around inside your bag.

No complicated travel case required.

👀 Transparent and Practical Design

The clear body allows you to see:

  • How many beans remain

The lower grounds container detaches easily, giving you quick access to the freshly ground coffee without unnecessary lids or complicated parts.

🔧 Simple Grind Adjustment

The grind size is adjusted using the control beneath the burr.

Turn the adjustment finer for methods such as AeroPress or smaller pour-over recipes, or coarser for Chemex, cafetière, and larger filter brews.

When changing the grind setting, count or remember the number of adjustment steps from the fully closed position. This makes it easier to return to a successful setting for a particular brewer.

Useful starting approach

  1. Carefully close the burrs without forcing them.
  2. Open the adjustment in small steps.
  3. Grind a small amount of coffee.
  4. Brew and taste.
  5. Adjust finer or coarser based on the result.

Too sour, thin, or fast? Grind finer.

Too bitter, dry, or slow? Grind coarser.

The upper chamber holds up to approximately 24 grams of coffee beans.

This is enough for:
