📦 Ingredients
Black tea from Cylon (Sri Lanka)
Origin: Sri Lanka
How does it taste?
- First sip: Bold, brisk, and awakening — you immediately get a strong malty punch, with roasted grain and earthy depth.
- Mid-palate: Smooth but powerful body, carrying notes of malt, a gentle sweetness, and sometimes a hint of dried fruit (like raisin).
- Finish: Lingering, slightly astringent (pleasant tea dryness), which makes it refreshing and perfect for milk or sugar additions.
- With milk/sugar: Turns creamy, mellow, and comfortingly sweet — like a warm, malty breakfast cereal with honey.
- With lemon: Brighter and more zesty, cutting through the strength and highlighting the briskness.
👉 Strong, malty, full-bodied, energizing, and versatile. It’s the kind of tea that “stands up” to milk and food, making it ideal for a hearty breakfast or as a reliable everyday base tea.
