Hario V60 brews amazing coffee but only when you use a suitable filter. This is the most standard version of filters which allow for very good water flow. 

The CoffeeNose 👃: This paper filter gives off some paper flavor to your brew, but way less than most unbleached paper filters. We still recommend white paper filters, as they are oxygen bleached without chemicals. The general process of paper manufactoring is energy and water intensive. The bleaching process adds a little bit. If you want to be truly sustainable consider resuable a metal filter. Consider also the size of coffee filters compared to many food waste products, like baking papers, packaging, etc.  

If you want to experiment with faster flowing filters try the WB.coffee V60 filters or the Sibarist FAST filters. Always pre-rinse your filter before adding coffee! I recommend using the V60-03 dripper with 02 filters. If you brew with a 02 dripper try V60-01 filters! 

Don't have a 03 dripper yet? Take the 03 Switch. You can also use it as a regular dripper without using the switch immersion function. You can change the glass to 02 glass as well. The switch is great for pre-heating the dripper and rinsing the filter. The FAST filters work very well with the switch. 

Looking for a budget version with great temperature stability? Try the plastic V60-03 dripper.

Compatible coffee: find your blend with a filter tasting set or ask for a single origin recommendation! FJ filter blend is a great coffee with Fruity & Juicy flavor notes. 

Are you a tad more traditional? We reccomend the CN blend with Chocolaty & Nutty blend. If you are used to add milk you can ditch the sugar. Our specialty coffee blends are sweet by themselves.
