Hario Japan – Stainless Steel Mesh Filter for CHJMN-70T | Original Replacement Part
🍃🫖 Replace the Filter, Not the Teapot — Original Hario Japan Spare Part
Keep your favourite Hario teapot brewing beautifully with the original Hario Stainless Steel Mesh Filter C-CHJM-70, designed for the larger Cha Cha Kyusu Maru 700 ml teapots.
Whether your original strainer has been lost, damaged or worn out, this genuine replacement part restores the functionality of your teapot without replacing the entire glass vessel.
Made in Japan from stainless steel, this reusable mesh filter gives loose tea leaves room to expand while separating them from the brewed infusion.
💚 A Service Product for Our WB.coffee Tea Customers
This replacement filter is offered primarily as an after-sales service to customers who purchased their original Hario teapot from WB.coffee and to our existing or new loose-leaf tea customers.
We believe that good brewing equipment deserves a long life. That's why we support our customers with genuine replacement parts instead of encouraging unnecessary replacement of complete products.
🍃 New to WB.coffee? Please include some of our loose-leaf tea in your order when purchasing this spare part.
Our selection includes delicate white and green teas, floral oolongs, classic black teas and aromatic tea blends. It's a wonderful opportunity to discover the difference that carefully selected loose-leaf tea can make.
We're an independent specialty coffee and tea business in Weesp, near Amsterdam — not a mass-market spare-parts distributor.
🔧 Compatible Hario Teapot Models
The original Hario C-CHJM-70 replacement strainer is compatible with:

🍵 Why Use the Original Hario Filter?
- 🇯🇵 Genuine Hario Japan replacement part — designed for the specified Hario teapots.
- 🔧 Correct fit — restores the original filtering functionality.
- 🍃 Stainless steel mesh — separates loose leaves from the infusion without disposable paper filters.
- 🫖 Generous brewing space — allows tea leaves to expand during infusion.
- ♻️ Reusable and replaceable — extends the useful life of your existing teapot.
- 💚 Less waste — replace a single component rather than the entire teapot.
👃 CoffeeNose Tip — Give Your Tea Leaves Room to Unfold
Loose-leaf tea needs space to hydrate, expand and release its flavour.
A generously sized mesh strainer allows water to circulate around the leaves more freely than a small, tightly packed tea ball.
For a 700 ml pot, begin with approximately 7 g of loose tea per 700 ml of water, then adjust the dosage, temperature and infusion time to suit the tea.
Delicate green and white teas generally benefit from cooler water, while many black teas tolerate higher brewing temperatures.
CoffeeNose recommendation: Remove the strainer when the desired infusion time has been reached. You can often brew quality whole-leaf teas more than once — simply add fresh water and adjust the steeping time.
