Aeropress XL reusable Filter
Full Flacvor, Zero Waste
🔧🎛️🛠️ AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap XL — zero-bypass control for endless recipes
Brew like a champion barista with the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap XL. The open/close tab lets you slow or completely stop drip-through, giving you full control over brew time, grind size, and extraction. It’s the easiest way to turn your AeroPress XL into a zero-bypass steep-and-release brewer — from clean daily cups to bold espresso-style and cold brew concentrate.
✅ Works with paper filters and metal filters
✅ Fits AeroPress XL coffee makers (same fit as other XL accessories)
✅ BPA-free and phthalate-free
✅ Why we love it at WB.coffee (CoffeeNose 👃)
This cap removes the biggest variable in AeroPress brewing: uncontrolled dripping. With Flow Control you can steep as long as you want, then release and press when you’re ready — consistent, repeatable, and incredibly fun for experimenting with recipes.
CoffeeNose tip: Use brew time as your strength dial. Longer steep = stronger extraction (and usually more caffeine extracted), shorter steep = lighter and brighter.
☕ Strength vs caffeine
Strength = how concentrated your coffee feels (watery vs syrupy).
Caffeine is different: caffeine generally increases with longer contact time. That’s why overnight cold brew tends to extract the most caffeine.

🔍 Dial-in shortcuts (fast fixes)
- Too strong / bitter → shorten steep time first (keep ratio), or grind coarser
- Too weak / sour → extend steep time, or grind finer
- Want more sweetness → steep longer, then dilute with cool water for a softer mouthfeel
